Corrections & Feedback Policy
Accuracy matters to us. NaijaNewsFeeds is committed to getting the facts right — and to correcting mistakes openly and quickly when we don’t.
How to report an error
Spotted something wrong in one of our articles? Send us the details below and we will look into it promptly.
Please include three things
- The link (URL) of the article in question
- The specific statement you believe is wrong
- Any supporting information or source, if available
How we handle corrections
We review every correction request promptly. The path the fix takes depends on whether the content is original or aggregated.
Errors we wrote ourselves
Where a factual error is confirmed in our original content, we correct it as soon as possible.
For significant corrections, we add an editor’s note at the top of the article noting that it has been updated.
Errors from the original source
For aggregated or curated items, the original reporting belongs to the source we link to.
Where the issue is with our summary or attribution, we fix or remove it. We also encourage you to contact the original publisher for their content.
Our correction process — step by step
From your email to the published correction, here is what happens.
You report
Email info@naijanewsfeeds.com with the URL, the disputed statement and any supporting source.
We acknowledge
An editor confirms receipt and assigns the review. We aim to acknowledge within one business day.
We verify
We check the original sources, our archive, and any further information you sent. For aggregated items we also check the original publisher.
We act
If the error is confirmed, we correct, append an editor’s note where significant, and notify you of the change. If no error is found, we explain our reasoning.
Feedback & right of reply
If you are the subject of a story and wish to respond or request a clarification, we want to hear from you. We take fairness and the right of reply seriously.
